For many ears I used a TK-Fine Executive 0.5. I still have it right in front of me but since I got a Uni Kuru Toga nothing can come even close to it.

I'm not talking about the straightness, I'm talking about what you're underlining. Underlining is ineffective if you underline half the fucking page.

For Staedtler I used two type of lead each size, 2B and HB. The metallic grip hurts my finger sometimes.

For Rotring I used 2B only.

Pentel QE519 (Twist-Erase 0.9mm)
cheap, bought with BTC, and writes extremely well.

Trash. Get a Rotring 600 if you like that kind of stuff.

But honestly other than a Pentel Smash you don't need any other mechanical pencil. It's the perfect pencil, perfect weight, perfect durability, it makes you want to write.

I use Staedtler for architectural drafting. It's not that great, but I'm used to it now.
