Parents want a tablet, but I'm not sure what to get them. They want an Android tablet since they've never used ios before, but I was under the impression that android tablets are pretty shitty.
Is there anything good I can buy for like $200-$250?

I'm using one of the ASUS Zenpad Z10 tablets. It's only on Verizon right now, but it's a solid tablet. S650/3GB RAM, 32GB + SD card support, 2048x1536 screen. The battery life is killer.

Who knows if it'll get support for any length of time, I don't have too much hope for anything beyond maybe getting bumped to Android 7.0.
