You are frustrated that a program is using the ram you paid for?
>2016
>Not having at least 8 gig ram
hahahaha
>>57595089
I have 3070
kill me
>>57594994
iz s'posed to do that
>>57595147
This. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
Chrome trades high RAM usage for speed and firefox trades low RAM usage for dogshit performance.
>>57595027
Why do people spendnthis much on GAYMURRR RAM?
>>57595275
You do realize this is going to be the norm in ~2 years right?
>Pay cold hard cash for RAM
>Get mad when it's actually used instead of sitting idle
???
>>57594994
How does this even happen? I have 48 tabs open right now and everything combined is not even 3GB.
>>57594994
>Not using newegg.com to upgrade RAM
>>57594994
>He fell for the Chrome meme
HAHAHAHAHAHAH
>>57596276
How did you get chrome to make everything its own separate process? Mine use to do that, then it broke, combines everything and I can't close single tabs to get ram back anymore.
>>57597038
>he pays for unused ram
>he uses a slower browser because fuck google
>>57595089
>using the RAM
Why would a web browser even need that much? Even assuming it has every aspect of every open page in RAM that doesn't account for its insane usage.
>>57595275
because its the cheapest one ya tard.

>buying in to the "used resources, have to buy more, used resources, used resources..." arms race
Only winning move is not to play.
>>57597223
I have 4GB ram since 2013 and never needed more. I can do gayming, work and all points in between. Never used more than 70% of capacity.
Using software that is optimized and consumes less resources is the right approach so other applications can run in your system parallel without need for upgrade every 6 months.
>>57597167
Not sure how, it's always been like this.
But I do use Canary, which tends to pass up some features that end up on the stable version.

dont fall for the RAM meme
