Sup /g/ do you know what this is?

Intel Pentium 1, can't tell if MMX or not.
What kind of motherboard is this?
>>57592990
Not needed to be Pentium I, AMD chips uses Socket 7 too, and VIA and a lot of CPUs back then were using that socket
>>57593085
It's LPX. Most popular form factor among OEM's until ATX arrived in the mid-90s.
>>57593092
AMD was about twice as fast as Pentium on Socket 7. It was also the last time that Intel and AMD had flagship processors on the same socket.
>>57593226
Yes. AMD went up to 600MHz using a heavily modified version of the Socket 7 platform. Intel abandoned it at 233MHz in favour of Socket 8, Slot 1, and Socket 370.
>>57593226
AMD used to be just a backup company to manufacture CPUs for IBM (so that there would be an alternative source if something went wrong with Intel). It was only in the 90s that they went "rogue" and started to openly compete with Intel by designing and marketing their own x86-compatible CPUs.

That's some nice history trivia. Too bad that Zen will be a failure and the nail on their coffin. One can only wonder how the assets of AMD are going to be distributed after their final collapse.

A shitpost
My ibm aptiva had an amd k6 200mhz socket 7. was able to play Unreal tournament and quake 3. It came with 32mb ram, later in life it was upgraded to 64mb. Went from onboard Rage IIc graphics to Xpert 98 8mb pci to finally a 3dfx Voodoo 3 2000 pci. Still have the Voodoo and Xpert 98 cards btw.

It was unlocked all you had to do was up the multiplier to 100 MHz with a 6x multiplier and maybe boost the voltage.
>>57593371
Not all Intel-made boards had that capability, thus limiting you to the 233MHz Pentium MMX.
>>57592984
Pentium 233MHz
>>57593390
Sure, all the one with 100 MHz FSB could
>>57593092
It is a pentium 1 pajeet you dumb autistic fuck. Its obvious from the packaging.
>>57592984
>cirrus logic with p1 100mhz without mmx
is that a fujitsu-siemens system?
>>57594955
fuck me, i meant siemens-nixdorf
