Can someone help me? I have a 2007 iMac with 10.5.8 (I know it's old, but upgrading isn't worth it atm, getting a new device soon). Watching vids on Youtube and streaming sites is fine, haven't had any major problems in the past despite using old browsers and an old flash player version. But now I can't play vids on YouPorn and Pornhub for almost a week now. Before it wasn't a problem at all.
Is there any way to fix this without upgrading the OS to upgrade the flash player and browser? I just wanna fap ffs.

Pretty much, yeah.
Assuming you have a normal i386 or x86_64 architecture, most common programs should work on your computer without any problems.
If you're new to Linux use Ubuntu (preferably Ubuntu Gnome), it will be the easiest distro to get into.
Back up your shit first though, its easy to accidentally wipe the hard drive during install if you don't know what you're doing.
