2016 MacBook Pro's is faster.

Very fast but not really a point since nothing we do takes advantage of all that bandwith. Maybe your OS will load .3 seconds faster.

Bought a used Samshit SSD for my laptop, now I think it is making a rustling sound, is it fucked?

Do SSDs make rustling sounds if they start dying or is some other component in this laptop fucked?

The fan sounds alright so I'm not sure what else it could even be.

The Pro is faster than the Evo, but for the applications 99.9% of people will use them for, the speed differences between the two will not matter at all.

I also believe the warranty of the evo is 5 years while the pro is 10, but honestly modern SSDs should outlive both of those warranties when used at a normal rate.

planning on getting an 850 evo alongside an hdd that I already use, do I need to get the installation and data transfer kit to move the OSes and stuff onto it?

SSDs don't have any moving parts, so there's probably something inside your laptop rattling around.

My buddy just got one of these and straight cloned his current HDD onto his 850 evo 500gb SSD.
