Anyone know if this would make a decent PC monitor?

I thought LG were all about OLED TV panels.

Gotta make something everyone can afford man

No. TVs have terrible input lag, to the point where even moving the mouse on the desktop feels awful.

Not OP, but what if I have bad reaction time? I'm in like the 500ms range.

My LG has input lag so i cant use it as monitor.
>>57526018
there wasn't any noticeable input lag on my toshiba tv from 2009 though

add input lag of a TV (32-200ms) to your 500 ms.

You not noticing it doesn't mean it wasn't there. All TVs have it. There isn't a single set on the market with comparable response times to a proper monitor (barring some horrifically-shit cheap IPS and VA monitors).

Not all of them are that bad, most have a "game" mode to reduce input lag
besides most of the 40" 4k korean displays use panels from TVs and have higher than average input lag for a monitor

"Game" modes reduce input lag, but still don't come close to eliminating it. I have a Sony TV that I run in its "game" mode when I hook my PC up to it, but the difference is still dramatic. It's passable (but still noticable) when playing with a controller, but using a mouse is absolutely disgusting.
Own that tv. Use it with my pc sometimes. It has a reduce input lag mode which you should use, otherwise its noticable lag. Colors are good, looks good on movies and games. Its not bad, but its fucking huge compared to your 25inch screen just so you know.
Unless you *need* more screen real estate youre missing the point of a high PPI display.

I have a multi monitor set up, the goal would be replacing it
I might buy it anyways since it's relatively cheap at $300 just so I don't have to buy anyone presents for the next 2 years

Windows scaling is still shit, a 27" 4k display would be nice, but I also want to use all the pixels of my display

It's pretty much fine, actually.

Stop it
The second amazon review seems to confirm that it's not a decent PC monitor
"mage quality is ok. the blacks on this tv are bad. they're not deep black. I'm a gamer and this tv has too much input lag even on game mode. if you're trying to get this model of tv my suggestion would be to invest a lil bit more on Samsung tv which has better range of color and better blacks on the display and less input lag "
Forum posts here are saying it does support Chroma 4:4:4
