Anyone know how to bypass the "This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google Account that was previously synced on this device." message?

I'm trying to fix this phone for this old bitch and she claims that it's a virus and doesn't know how to fix it. I'm pretty sure she just accidentally reset the entire phone... I don't know how you do that, but okay. She doesn't know the log in.

The weird thing is that I've reset my S7 plenty of times and it's never happened to me before. It's a Galaxy Grand Prime and I don't get why it did this.
