Guess good for them? Enjoy the shitty brand I guess.

Today I found out that all speaker companies are owned by the same parent

AKG is a pretty solid brand.
Also samsung has always been shit at audio so might be a cool move

what do you mean? all I see is a bunch of cheap nigger shit
I don't think Harman has anything to do with Plantronics or any of the companies they bought for instance

Kind of a bold move for a company whose entire reputation is rapidly being replaced solely by fire and explosions.

Dead in the water.

Samsung didn't buy Harman for speakers.
Samsung bought because of Harman's automotive electronics business.
Harman makes pretty much any electronic part that a car might need, and Samsung thought it critical to own a company like Harman to get a leg-up in the self-driving car business.
Samsung plans to supply self-driving systems to existing carmakers instead of building an entire car themselves like Google and Apple are doing.
rip akg, not gonna wear explosives strapped to my head

Great, now my stereo will going Allah Akbar when I put on some god damn music.
Does this mean my new Harmon Kardon speakers are going to be exploding?
This makes me sad.
