There's a Solus IRC, there's a support forum, and on top of that I've yet to experience a single issue running it so it's already better than mint.

Solus is the best made distro so far, the only issue is the lack of software in the repositories, but even still it's got all most people will need, and more.

I tried to use mint, it was fucking perfection really especially after coming from Windows 7, but I had a problem with the kernel being 4.4. I have RX 480 and it requires 4.7 kernel or later, tried to install 4.8 and 4.7 and both just fucked my install completely. Now I'm using Lubuntu but I still miss mint a bit. Sucks to be shit at Linux that I can't update the kernel without it breaking the whole distro. If anyone cares heres a horrible image of the error screen I got with 4.8 or 4.7
