Is this the most comfy Linux distro?
>>57504402
Easily
Great Distro. I hope they will keep maintaining it.
More of a fan of xubuntu but that's really just personal taste.
>>57504471
It's definitely the most usable computer OS hands down.

Is it? I used ubuntu back in the day and liked it
I liked elementary os
I tried debian and it was ok, on a very shitty pc
right now I have linux mint and I don't like them
Am between this or solus os (it looks nice but I'm not sure about it), for my 2011 laptop 4gb ram with second generation i5 2.3ghz, once I put in an ssd in it. So, is it really comfy? desu that's what I'm looking for, since I'll be spending a lot of working time in it.

>has mint
>still debating what os to get
you already have the best one, stop being a fag
>>57504524
*i also used ubuntu with gnome 3 and it was good but never clicked with me.

Ubuntu MATE is about as close you can get to GNOME 2 without using old ass software.
>>57504536
I mean, it's really easy to use and had exactly 0 problems with it, but it just doesn't look good to me, doesn't click. Doesn't feel comfy.
ubuntu mate is comfy like a nice warm blanket
xubuntu is comfy like cuddling with a girl in a nice warm blanket
therefore xubuntu is better

Yeah I know. But is it the comfiest?
I mean, that's clearly personal preference but I just want something I can fucking stick to for the following years and feel good about.
Will check xubuntu as well because of >>57504549
and decide.

Isn't XFCE nearly dead? MATE ported to GTK 3.
What the fuck is the difference between Ubuntu MATE and Linux Mint MATE?
>>57504643
Linux mint mate won't get updates between lts Ubuntu and is not officially supported by canonical
