how can i find all 3 digit numbers, sum of whose digits are equal to x? without iterating 999 times and validating

Why won't this compile? It says in the method that it can't find testA[], even though it's public.
class arrayTest {
public String testA[] = new String[1];

class test {
public static void setArray() {
testA[0] = "Hello";
}
}

Let F(x, n) be the function that spits out all n-digit numbers, sum of whose digits are equal to x.

We can construct it recursively as follows:

F(x, 1) = x (if 0<=x<=9, nothing otherwise)

F(x, n+1)= for i ranging from 0 to 9:
{ first digit is i, the rest is F(x - i, n) }

I was looking at my Windows 7 resource usage when the system was idle and I was surprised to see it was using over a gigabyte of ram.

Looking at my processes I don't see anything that could add up to that amount.

Is it just the operating system caching files to allow applications to launch more quickly? Is that what the cached amount under physical memory refers to?

I posted this on the last thread, no one answered :(.
I have two R7 260s, and i want to crossfire them. While i was looking for crossfire bridges i found an amd page saying with the 260s i don't need a bridge. How do i go about crossfiring them? Also, is this chart right?

Hoping there are some Excel wizards here.

I have a worksheet with several tables underneath each other. They all have a common column "name" and then a bunch of data. I have 2 dropdown lists with the names and use the vlookup function so when I select a name from each dropdown the according data is pulled from all tables and something is calculated.

I am now looking for a way that would allow me automatically compare every possible combination of 2 "names" and their according values (and yes, it matters which name comes first). I assume there's a way to loop through with VBS? Any hint and idea appreciated.

Cuz I'm hearing a lot about how companies are getting automation that can write rudimentary software.

So how long before programming only exists in places like academics or is just left to automated systems all together

You need to put in both cards, ensure they bare both powered, and BIOS is giving PCIe lands to both. Install the drivers for both. Then AMD config tool should let you enable cross fire.

How do I continue a loop even when the player types in something that triggers another piece of code?

For example:
A quiz where the player is asked a question and they have to type in the answer. If they type a keyword, their score is displayed, and the player is still given the chance to answer.
As it stands, I can only have one or the other. The player either answers the question and program control moves on, or the player shows their score and program control moves on. I can't think of how a for/while loop structure would work for this. Any ideas?

You probably aren't going to get that for that cheap. Here's some advice though, look for factory certified refurbished units. For example, I know Dell sells refurbs on their Dell outlet site and you can usually get a decent discount on compared to buying entirely new. A lot of the time they are just open box units that someone returned.

Also I just remembered I'm using my old Ivy Bridge i3's heatsink/fan, and that processor was 1155 I think, and it has barely any thermal paste in it left from the old processor. I also noticed one of its locking pins barely locks in an it moves a tad bit when I push its pins. Please don't tell me even the fucking cooler has to be the same LGA

class s

While testA array is set as public within the first class, you need to instantiate the class to get access to testA.

whats in dbh.php this is important (user names and passwords can be blured out just need to know what is contained in it)

also if its database info then you need to require_once instead of including the file

and also you need to do a mysql connection for example

//$conn is sort for connection

How do emails (or web accounts generally) actually get "hacked"? I can't trust that word when journalists throw it around. Unless someone's password is "password", don't most all servers prevent brute-force login attempts?
>>
>>57487392
"3 digit numbers, sum of whose digits..."

This means you really have three variables and that you're going to present the answer as though it's a 3 digit number. But it's really just three variables: a + b + c = x. So for all a 0..9, for all b, 0..9, solve for c. This will loop over a (0..9) and b (0..9) so you will have 100 iterations at most. If x is small like 15, then you know you don't need to solve for anything like a=9, b=7..9.

I'm creating a mini project in Java but in a procedural way (not OOP) for an assignment.
What is the ideal way a program should be structured? I feel like I'm creating too many methods. I.E. whenever I create a new variable or array, it needs a method or two to set up. Is this a good way to program? Should every variable only be accessed through methods?

Fuck, I recently watched a video about it but I can't recall the specifics, it has to do with X window mangers not being able to redraw the window correctly, but in some systems you can disable a functionality which I forgot so that this wont happen. So I will require a laptop.

Looking for most bang for my buck and I live in Canada.

I know black friday sales are coming but I don't expect anything to be that great of a deal

I am expecting a $600-700 laptop to drop down to about $500 for BF, something like the HP Notebook 15-ay091ms
15.6-inch (396.24-millimete) HD touchscreen
Intel Core i3-6100U
8GB memory/1TB HDD

Meanwhile dell refurbished routinely has sales that are 30-40% off and sometimes 50% off too
I could snag an older lattitute laptop for about the same money
Dell Latitude E6540
I7 4600M
8GB ram 500GB hdd
1080p screen

Im leaning towards the dell, but I would like some opinions here.

I'm getting multiple "rounding 0.5 expected less than 0.4" errors on multiple cores, different ones each time I run the test. What does that ultimately mean?

Note: I may have bent a few pins on the CPU while building my PC.

Hey guys I have big hands and MS, also I learned to type on a older and what seems like a larger keyboard.

So is it just me or are keyboards getting smaller? Everytime I buy a standard keyboard they feel small and cramped. But when I go to work I see older keyboards that appear to be slightly bigger and more of what I want.

Does anyone know what type of keyboard this is??

I have an external hard drive plugged into my router, so I can find stuff from it from anywhere in the house. The problem is that I can't actually write to it, unless I plug the external hard drive into my computer. Is there a way around that? It seems totally counterproductive, to have to plug it into a computer in order to use it wirelessly.

I want to make a device that you plug in your hdmi/dvi/display port cable from your computer that will emulate a display. It will transmit the signal over a network to another device that the tv/monitor is plugged into.
Probably would use a raspberry pi or similar and a custom circuit for signal conditioning to the gpio. I have a bachelors in electrical engineering and have a lot if programming experience. How realistic is this?

I have this JS code:

scene.box.func.calcPos = function (name, x, y, z) {
var temp = new Object();
temp.x = scene.x + scene.box[name].x[x] + Math.sign(scene.box[name].x[x] - fluchtpunkt.x) * scene.box[name].z[z] * Math.cos(Math.atan((scene.box[name].y[y] - fluchtpunkt.y) / (scene.box[name].x[x] - fluchtpunkt.x))),
temp.y = scene.y + scene.box[name].y[y] + Math.sign(scene.box[name].x[x] - fluchtpunkt.x) * scene.box[name].z[z] * Math.sin(Math.atan((scene.box[name].y[y] - fluchtpunkt.y) / (scene.box[name].x[x] - fluchtpunkt.x)));
temp.x = Math.round(temp.x);
temp.y = Math.round(temp.y);
return temp;
}

This code just returns a x and a y point

function drawFront() {
ctx.beginPath();
var tempPosition = scene.box.func.calcPos(scene.box.names[i], 0, 0, 0);
ctx.moveTo(tempPosition.x, tempPosition.y);
var tempPosition = scene.box.func.calcPos(scene.box.names[i], 1, 0, 0);
ctx.lineTo(tempPosition.x, tempPosition.y);
var tempPosition = scene.box.func.calcPos(scene.box.names[i], 1, 1, 0);
ctx.lineTo(tempPosition.x, tempPosition.y);
var tempPosition = scene.box.func.calcPos(scene.box.names[i], 0, 1, 0);
ctx.lineTo(tempPosition.x, tempPosition.y);
ctx.closePath();

if (scene.box[scene.box.names[i]].material.useFaces == true){ // this is true
ctx.fillStyle = scene.box[scene.box.names[i]].material.faces[0].c;
ctx.fill();
}
if (scene.box[scene.box.names[i]].material.grid == true) // this is true
ctx.stroke();
}

And this is supposed to draw all of these points together to one rectangle

The code works, but it gets slower and slower and slower as times moves on. The CPU also gets used WAY to much. What is wrong with the code?

A half hour ago, I was having troubles with Firefox crashing due to a Dropbox dll(DropboxExt.3.0.dll). It doesn't happen often, just when I've had firefox open for hours with multiple tabs open, but this had been happening for a long time, and at this point I got slightly frustrated of continuing to deal with it, so I went to try and delete it to fix the problem forever. Here's where the idiocy comes in.

I got a "this is open in another program" message, and thought to rename it for some reason (to try and prevent it from bothering firefox again, I suppose). Well, the moment that happened I got a "task scheduler engine has stopped working" error. In a panic, I tried to uninstall dropbox and delete the folder the .dll was stored in, but it just happened again a minute ago.

What should I do to fix this?

yeah but i cant verify on ebay that a computer works before purchasing it, even if it is from a vendor, and returns suck on ebay. I never thought of amazon, but new computers suffer the same issue (preferably id like one from 2010-2012 but will take anything cheap) of being fuckall expensive even though these computers are almost 7 years old and going for just slightly less (maybe $100 less) than when they were the latest models, and also have the same issue with the used computers that I have with ebay. From browsing the first 5 pages of google search "macbook 2012 for sale" (the botnet then suggested i add pro into the search and decided i need to see those links anyway) it took me to several apple fanboy pages that had markets but were selling them at the same price like I was asking for a vintage Apple 2 in perfect condition with all accessories. The other results were for a bunc of news articles about why the 2012 macbook pro is still popular.

I also went to backpage to see if anyone within 100 miles of me was selling a cheap macbook and only 2 computers have been posted within the past month. I guess ill just wait until someone posts a macbook again that doesn't have a hard drive or charge that they're selling for $40 (happened about 2 months ago but i was between checks and had a ticket to pay and had to go to the hospital too so couldn't pick it up)

Even if I boot from the SSD, the SSD is mounted as the E: drive and everything fucks up because it's trying to load Windows shit from the now empty C: drive on the hard drive! And I can't switch the drive letters in diskpart.msc because you can't change the current OS drive letter! If I remove the hard drive, Windows doesn't start on the SSD at all! Thanks to all the anons that tried to help me with my monitor/tv issue. I actually have a video showing the comparisons.

https://stream.moe/mPjO

Basically, TV (left) plays videos a lot smoother and when I'm watching cartoons or other videos on my current monitor (right), it's stuttering all the time. You can see that because of the black bars on the right, they are basically not transitioning smoothly when it is quick. On the tv on the left, they are transitioning smoothly.

Monitor is an Acer GN246HL. I just want to fix this issue. The only thing that I can think of is that I got stuck with a really shitty one and buying a new one is the only solution.

Thanks to anyone that can offer some help.

My guess is you booted the SSD while the HDD still had the Windows partition

Doing this fucks things up

Clone your Windows partition back to the HDD, then wipe the SSD, try cloning again, but this time boot from your SSD WITHOUT the HDD plugged in, it will update its internal references and pointers to the SSD. After that you can plug in the HDD without conflicts

>MBR => Any
exFAT is the best if you're not going to be using Linux as it is compatible with both MacOS and Windows, and has has over 4GB allowable filesizes, and doesn't fragment like NTFS, and allows for larger partition sizes.
FAT16 is only for EFI partitions.
FAT32 is only for Legacy applications, USB bootable drives, and Linux compatibility.
NTFS should only be used when necessary.

Depends very much on what you're doing. Some stuff loves cores and will use as many of them as it can get - this is why you can buy phenomenally expensive server CPUs with 20+ cores. Each. Some other stuff can't use more than one.

Generally unless you know why you need more than four, you'll never use more than four.

My graphics card caused OS crash yesterday. Since then, I can only start in Safe Mode. Artifacts appear even during startup (but not in BIOS screen).
I think it's because thermal paste has dried out and caused GPU damage. I have only cleaned dust during 6 years of its service - no other maintenance.

My PC hangs/freezes at random times, I can still move the mouse around but nothing works (task manager, programs, nothing), it's like everything is running at 0.1% speed. Never seen anything like this before.
After a while the mouse stops too and I have to wait for a crash or just hard reboot myself. If I let it crash when it reboots it can't find my SSD and tells me to insert a DVD and reboot.
If I reboot again it finds my hdd and launches windows properly. Then the countdown starts again. Could be a few minutes, could be an hour. If I leave it completely alone it won't hang or crash. I left it running while sleeping and woke up and it was fine, but as soon as I started opening shit up it started fucking up again.

I made small upgrade replacing CPU from Athlon II to Phenom II X4 955.
I made some OC from 3.2 to 3.8 GHz and Battlefield 1 goes smoothly.
There was no CTD or BSOD, so I assume it is stable.

However temperature gets high (up to 90 C), so for safety reasons I should replace radiator.
The TDP is supposed to have 125W, but with OC I believe it also increases as well.

Question:
- Having a broad variety of CPU radiators to be purchased, I have option to filter called "Max TDP". What is the safe rule of thumb to follow here?
- Any other things to consider while buying radiator + fan ?

I forgot to mention, I also checked it was enabled in BIOS. The BIOS has only two options: enabled and disabled. When disabled, the output is not listed in playback devices. I'm having trouble.
Whenever I'm playing a game, the screen goes black (sometimes it goes blue, yellow, purple, or some other colors), then my only option is to restart the PC. Then, after restarting, there's a notifilation that says the application has been 'blocked from accessing Graphics hardware'. And on eventvwr there's a log that says nvlddmkm has stopped and "succesfully" recovered, and 5 other logs that says my ethernet interface begun resetting.

I have tried running the game as admin, compatibilty mode, downclocking the gpu, reinstalling drivers, reinstalling wandows, setting TDR delay to a higher value, and some other stuff.

Could it be my GPU is dying? It's two years only (GTX 970). My PSU is 750W and never showed any signs it could be dying. I cleaned everything and temps are okay (~30ºC or less when idle, ~63ºC while playing).

What could it be? I'm running out of ideas.

Think about what you can do, either on the server or somewhere else, so that you will be able to test the new server and then switch to the new version on it?'

It is written horribly, as far as I understand it, the guestion is: What should I do, so that when visiting "hillary.trumpdonald.org" I will get on the new server and not the old one?

Which browser should be the less likely to crash/slow down a lot with multiple windows and many (>40) tabs? (On a laptop with 4gb ram)
