How stupid is it to use the handwriting on a Surface/Windows 10?
Microsoft has a warehouse of your handwriting now.

retarded when you have the option to use a keyboard
>>57462630
Does that really matter though?
tfw the NSA suicides you with two bullets to the back of your head and leaves a note with your handwriting
It will all be useless when they come up with good software lip-reading. so we can all use speech to text without even speaking out loud

I do it in all of my scientific and quantitative classes, this way I still have everything on my tiny laptop, directly updated into my NAS for backup when I connect my laptop to my home network.
When I'm not home I also do all my maths homework and training on it.

This. Handwriting-enabled tablets are the best tool for academics ever.

Good luck trying to decipher my chicken scratch

Absolutely fucking stupid. Why not just use a pen and paper? At least the paper won't run out of battery.

This. That shit is fucking great. I also learned that onenote can actually read and solve mathematical equations you write. It's a great tool for mathematicians, or anyone else who takes lots of math-heavy notes. Being able to write down equations by hand AND being able to CTRL+F through notes to find that one phrase that's part of a theorem or formula I know is floating around somewhere so I don't have to flip through dozens of pages is great.

Just bought a mint SurfaceBook off Swappa for $940 shipped, arriving tomorrow.
I use a Fujitsu T900 right now and OneNote is pretty good, but it has nothing on the Surface/SurfaceBook lines, inking is so much nicer on them.
