Hey /g/entoomen,
I'm needing some help.
I need to change a bulk lot of ADObjects (type contact) but can't seem to do it.
I need to modify the attributes (mail, targetaddress, proxyaddresses), exchange isn't on premise and I don't have access to the exchange environment (fucking management have chosen to outsource due to political pressure).
Set-AdObject can only change certain properties and I can't use set-contact because no exchange.
This has me stumped. Help?
I guess g has filled with "gaymers" who only know how to follow memes these days. Oh well

ADmodify.net might do it, other than that there's probably a Powershell script somewhere on the net from someone who had a similar problem.
This might help, although it might be a few years out of date at this point.

Legend, I think this should do the trick.
Couldn't find others with the same issue, folks over on stack overflow couldn't figure it out as well

I think Set-ADObject can change hidden attributes but you have to explicitly mention them.
That or you could also try Dell's Quest something PowerShell AD cmdlets, which are more powerful.

If Powershell won't solve your problem, always remember you can embed C# code on a PS file.

Set-ad object can't change hidden attributes.
Managed to use as modify to do it all.
However I need to learn c# so I can write my own ldap queries I think!
