bought this recorder of line to try and rip the metal gear solid 5 tapes and soundtracks to actual casettes, but in the manual it says it only records in one channel and when i play the tape back it only plays in my left ear?
is there a way around this to get stereo or something??

Use 2 earphones and a splitter.
Plug the left channel from each earphone into your ears

That only gets you binaural mono. A recorder like that won't hack it for doing true stereo.

makes me feel embarrassed i ripped some of my dad old casette from a nakamichi dragon to m-audio audiophile 24/96 10 years ago for a fathers day present
/g/ its ok it taught me a lot about pro audio restoration tools
