how do I find out what is causing my pc to keep freezing and or cutting out the video card?

sometimes i can still hear my game music, but it seems like there is nothing coming from the video card so the monitor is blank

sometimes its bluescreen, sometimes its just video cutting out sometimes the pc will just turn off

what is causing this? is there a log i can look up? here are my specs

i found a built in windows 10 log, but it just shows critical errors, or other errors, but i cant find details on it. im not an expert when viewing these logs, so what should I be looking for?

Same issue happens to memon my ATI 5670. Game hangs and then all I hear is the audio or a screeching noise. Managed to survive crash couple of times on win8. Says the catalyst driver failed. Tried updating to newest ones multiple times. Happens on both my HP500B Micro Stations. :/ suspect it might be power raw triggering it. But it happens so sporadically
