I have an Intel i3 5th gen with rx 480 and 16 gigs of ram. I also have a 120 gig ssd as my main storage. I can pretty much play any game out there on medium to high settings

Really? Attila isn't that much demanding as skyrim though, my build I'm trying out is Intel i3 4th generation, rx 480, 8 gigs of RAM, 3 terabyte hdd, 1080p monitor, 250w power supply. Hopefully this is good enough for skyrim

Yea, that should be perfect for skyrim. Don't get an i5, an i3 is just as good and i7s are too expensive. The rx 480 is a really good graphics card I feel like it's doing better than the gtx 1080, also, 8 gigs of RAM isn't enough for most new games these days, try getting 16 gigs and maybe 32 gigs if you can afford it. 250 watts might be too low, remember, always over estimate, I'd say get 500 wat.

Yea, g sync really helps. Amd there isn't a notable difference between 60 and 122hz as far as I can tell. Get very sync if you can, makes your graphics card worthwhile

My gaming laptop is being sent in for the third time for repairs. Tired of having it break for stupid reasons when I never abuse it. I love the portability, but I decided to build a desktop.
