runs like a charn and past month received an update from sony which fixed a little problem in the camera focus, its great but the ROM is only 8gb and the speaker are shit, i never realized if i had a phone call so i got a bluetooth headset, planning on getting another xperia, maybe the z5, but the loud speaker and big memory capacities are a must, will have to check other options

If this thing had 1 extra GB of RAM (from 3 to 5) and a slightly larger battery (from 3000 mAh to maybe 3300) this would be perfect.
For my uses, I actually don't even need those improvements.
My average day is around 10-11 hours, with 2-3 hours sot. The phone is usually around 50% after all that.
I don't play any games, so the soc or GPU doesn't matter. 3gb of ram is decent for multitasking, but obviously 4 would be much nicer.

Everything else is great. Design, moto actions, screen size, speakers, camera, etc.

Zenfone 2 (4gb, x86) running cm13.

Phone was pretty bad with the factory rom, but since I put cm13 on it I've noticed better battery life and performance. Only complaint is that the built quality is a bit sub par, but with that said 1 and a half years later and my screen is still scratch free. 6/10 phone.

About a week now. For $200 you can't go wrong. Battery could be a bit bigger. It makes it through a work day for me, but it has fast charging so even if it does get low I just charge it for an hour and I'm good.

Galaxy S4. It was below-average when I first bought it, but now it's just irredeemably awful. I'm constantly out of space (fucking "16 GB" my ass) and this thing is constantly having hiccups and freezing, crashing and the camera is just bad. Plus my battery is reduced to maybe ten minutes of active use at this point, but it charges very quickly, which is nice, I guess.

Saving up for a Pixel XL and probably a Daydream view.
