I wish that we could get another round of idle games like the Steam summer idle game where the whole point is to metagame and figure out a good script strategy to play the game for you.

I loved the rivalry between the 4chan and reddit scripters that had them each at the other's throat on which conflicting strategy was optimal as the race to the end went on day after day.
