What is /g/'s favorite computer mouse?
Zowie EC2-A
>>57415732
solid mouse, wish I had one
>>57415436
M570 for work (not a lot of desk space so trackball is perfect)
G602 for anything else
Deathadder is the best, mine lasted for 6 years.
Currently own a G400s, happy with it.
I am actually thinking about getting a m570 trackball. I'm tired of my gayming mouse and need something different.
MX Master Wireless.
>>57416432
agreed
tfw i wanted to buy a trackball once my mouse dies, but went full freetard and decided i will only buy something that is officially (or well) supported on linux,
so next time is either some wireless logitech mouse or a cheap roccat.
Are trackballs good? I want a comfortable mouse over the one I have right now.

How good is this trackball mouse? I like it but I don't know if I could ever get used to it.
I need a mouse for small hands, I have a rival 300 now and it's fucking huge as shit. I heard the roccat Kone is good for small hands, anyone have it?
>>57418429
The kone is pretty nice, it's pretty cheap and I have had mine around a year. I would say go for it.
>>57418096
I like the one like in op, it works pretty well
>>57418383
you'll be used to it within a few days and you'll never want to go back
>>57417892
go with the logitech wireless trackball, I've never had any issues with it on linux and all the buttons work as they should out of box but you can remap functions if you want
>>57418429
Mionix Castor? It's quite small.
Also anyone has suggestions for large mousepads? I currently have a Perixx DX-1000XXL. I spilled juice on it and tracking has gone to shit.
this is the best trackball, a little overpriced though. The buttons are fully reprogrammable and the scroll wheel is cool.
no loonix support tho
>>57418624
does the scroll ring click? not the sound but the middle click function?
>>57418645
no the bottom buttons can tho

this thing.
It's a bit too small though
>>57418495
Do you have the optical or the laser sensor? Which do you think is better?
>>57418992
a good side for thumb mounted balls' but not finger operated ones.

>>57418383
Using exactly pic related in the OP for a few years now. Before that, just the standard wired trackman.
The whole wireless thing is a little gimmicky but other than that it's great.
Just bought an MX Master. I'm in love.

>>57419223
What is so good about the mouse? What will make me stay with this instead of a regular mouse?
>>57419259
once I got used to it I found that for me at least operating a tracball with my thumb to just be more comfortable and natural seaming. also it's nice to lay in bed with the tracball on your chest or thigh and be able to use it without the issues you'd have with a mouse and uneven surfaces
is the g502 proteus spectrum a meme?
>>57418992
I hate finger balls. Thumb balls are much, MUCH better IMO.
>>57419259
My m570 is my laptop/in bed mouse. I still use a normal mouse at my desk, but the trackball is convenient and pretty comfortable everywhere else.
CST2545-5W(GL)
My absolute favorite mouse now. I bought another for work. A bit pricey but they removed all of the repetitive stress pain in my hand from using a regular mouse. Took about 2/3 weeks to "completely" get used to it and now I don't even notice I'm using a trackball.
>>57419109
I have the optical, but I have heard the laser isn't that great when it comes to accuracy(ironically). I'm pretty sure its due to putting prediction.
This.
>>57419318
>>57419487
In my case I would use it almost entirely from my desk. I don't know just seems like it might be weird to play some games and shit sometinws as well.
>>57416432
this. Trackball at work, WMO/Zowie at home.
>>57415436
Bought a red dragon one earlier this year for ~$15. I like the feel of it but I don't like the LEDs tbqh. But it's wired and has side buttons so it met my low standards.
>>57415436
Lo/g/itech /g/502
It's right in the name
i've had a logitech G400 for about 5 years, it has served me well. i've heard the newer models have angle snapping though.
>>57420495
>>57423406
Not them but I used one for a while.
That third click is fantastic, and if you turn off the gaucho LEDs it doesn't look awful. I'd still use it if it didn't fall apart after a year like all gaymen Logitech shit.
>>57418383
Wireless range is a little shit, and bearings gunk up quickly, but still the best thumb ball mouse currently on the market.
>>57418992
Elecom is a shit.
Terrible ball tracking, laughable wireless range, and overall kuso build quality.
You all effeminate, low-test man children or something?
