Already, Linux has gone from using mostly GNU for core OS features to using some GNU. In time, GNU will be relegated to the UNIX-compatible shell and the shell only, and no reasonable person will ever call it "the GNU OS with linux" except for tech illiterates who think bash is essential for an OS, or who never realized that we no longer use acpid, hotplug, and sysv-style inits that farm everything out to scripts that are normally nix-shell on most distros.....
