I once saw bus stop near where I work that was advocating for people
to research nuclear energy and the slogan was
"KNOW NUCLEAR"
The next day I see the same ad with the "K" and "W" spray painted out
which then read
"NO FUCKING NUCLEAR"
The ad was cleaned several times and the same graffiti was put back
on, going back and forth for a week. The ad was later taken down and
replaced with an ad for some shitty TV show.
There is something very wrong with the anti-nuclear people.

They're usually concerned with how the waste is disposed of.
The way I look at it disposing of these elements in one place away from everything else is probably better than leaving them in the Earth. Plus we get a relatively safe and clean source of power out of it so that's another win.
>tfw no group that fits my beliefs 1 to 1
Always feeling conflicted, hard to even figure who to vote for.
I'm all for regulated nuclear being built up, seems like such a great tech to use if used correctly. Can't trust profit driven companies though with it, it's a long-con, far too long for those living quarter to quarter.
Because most politicians don't understand fucking shit, as they get to power with money, lying, and corruption.
And you retards play along the game instead of voting for third parties.

I have never heard any reports of environmental or ecological damage from nuclear waste when it's done properly.
These concerns are not grounded in reality. I wouldn't be surprised if they thought we were shovelling in glowing
green sludge a metre below the soil. They don't even want to consider thinking about it since they are committed
to the conclusion that "nuclear is bad" regardless of any evidence.
Who fucking cares.

you should care if you are going to be living past 10 years from today.
if you are killing yourself before that, then by all means don't give a fuc.

Modern thin-film solar has much higher EROI then old silicon solar panels.
