Hey /g/
I have a bit of an audio dilemma you one of you might be able to shine some light on - I want to be able to play two audio channels simultaneously on my on HTS.
My amp is fairly entry level so it doesn't have an audio mixing feature, but I figured there might be another workaround that doesn't involve a receiver upgrade.
Bit of a tech support question I know but I genuinely don't know where else to ask. Tried Google to no avail. Pic related seems like it could work (a cable with two inputs and one output) but it doesn't seem to exist.
Why not multiplex both inputs and have whatever it is you're using as output to run both channels at the same time?

My el cheapo receiver can't play 2 channels at once

Build that cable. It's really easy. For testing you don't even need to solder it. Just take 1 or 2 cm of the plastic wrapping off and mush similar wires together. If it works well, go ahead and solder that son of my wife

I was thinking of this but thought I was being retarded. I'll give it a go.

Just for reference, it'd be as simple as LL(input) -> L output and RR(input) -> R(output), right?

Connect all white ones to each other, and the same thing with red.
Doesn't even really matter
