Yes, you are right, I apologize.

However, it is very difficult to find any information about end-of-life dates and such on CyanogenMod's site. I've been trying to find this information for several days, so I thought that I may find someone who uses Honami who could answer these questions.
The most important question to me is whether CyanogenMod is still being supported with security updates or not.
It's a community project, so I am assuming that it's still being supported, but I want to be sure before I unlock my phone's bootloader and install CyanogenMod.

custom roms on sony are hit and miss

got a z1 compact myself but to be honest it's not worth the trouble because there are bound to be issues and you fuck up the camera quality

cm12.1 is 5.1 so no lollipop for you, but check xda
as far as i know latest cm nightlies ship with latest security updates but come on just look it up yourself

CM is overrated these days. Just look for a ROM that has support for what you need, throw Xposed on and you'll be fine. I did a heap of modding on a few S2's, my S5 and my S3 in particular. Currently running Exodus in my S5, few things are broken but it's mostly fine and backups/restores are too tedious for me to be worried. I hoard my shit.

You're not the first to say this to me; I have a friend who installed CyanogenMod and found it pretty slow. This is making me a bit hesitant to install it.
