Periodically, my S7 fails to register touch, sometimes the A or P keys, other times ill press my flat thumb softly on the screen and get no response.
Is this a common error, or could my screen protector be too thicc? (ClearPlex Ultra from bestbuy Canada)
We're not your tech support so piss off

not asking for tech support, Just if the issue is isolated to me, or if this is for some/all s7's

Hmm, are you just used to typing on the note? i know when I went from a note to something 5.0 inches my typing suffered for a bit.

Buy something other than a Samshit.
They're literally fucking shit phones.

touch screens on any phone struggle to accept touches once temps get in the high 40s C

Try without the protector. Could be a manufacturing fault too, maybe ask support
>he didn't buy a redmi note 3 pro
My Note 5 might have a problem also. It presses the back button alone sometimes while I am in Kik, could just be the software.
It's something that's been happening to Samsung phones lately. Do your research before getting such an expensive phone.

All my friends use it, what do I do? Make them all switch, of course not.

I returned an S7 edge to amazon last week for a similar reason. The screen would register a touch input along one line an inch from the top of the screen every so often if you touch it anywhere. It made it impossible to type.

Lookk on the interwebs for secret menu codes for the S7. There's a menu that allows you to update/reflash the touchscreen firmware. Try that.
