why do so many nipp sites disable copy pasting?

wtf i hate asia now

Honestly why is Japanese webdesign so god damn bad?
>>
>>57379738
A lot of people browse on cell phones. Older ones, not Smart phones, and they have very limited layout engines of their browsers.
>>
>>57379748
Oh that makes sense.

Still bloody weird but I see that now.

Lot of old people here have the old flip phones still.
>>
>>57379748
Could you elaborate on that a bit? How would that mean one must disable copy paste? Do they run it on a non-bloated framework?
>>
>disable copy pasting

pick one

Some other reasons beyond that.

Firefox has some modifier combination or option or something that lets you prevent pages from blocking the right click menu. No idea about Ctrl+C Ctrl+V though.

>securely protecting your website content from being 'copied'

I aint clicking that link nigga
>>
>>57379779
>>57379748
that has nothing to do with why they go out of their way to block ctrl+c specifically.
>>
>>57379908
Language (lack of webstandards translated into japanese )
Cultural (risk averse (intelligence factor), consumers need more information regarding products they buy compared to the west)
Technical (usage of phones. older PCs limit certain tech tree growth, while promoting alternative tech advances in other branches)

Ultimately, the site doesn't explain why copypasta is disabled. I think its mainly due to owners not wanting their content to be copypasted and stolen.

also due to webmasters not realizing that this is trivial to work around. Even if you don't use any kind of script-blocking, modern browsers have a setting that prevents JS from being notified of and allowed to handle right-click events. Said settings exist specifically to work around this crap, but most normies don't know about them.

Because japs are rulecucks insanely anal about copyright.
