Hello /g/ today I was changing some settings on the witcher 3 when my computer blue screened. I was using my one day old Gigabyte GTX G1 Gaming 1070 hooked to my mobo through a powered pcie riser with a molex on it. I haven't managed to make it post since. I did not overclock it, my computer works perfectly with integrated graphics, all of the previous drivers were thoroughly uninstalled, I've tried numerous cables and monitors, still no post. All of the fans and lights on the card are working, which I hope means it's not totally fried, and I have checked on the BIOS that the pcie slot is right and even turned off igx. Still, no post. My system specs are as follows:
I5 6500
Gigabyte H110M-A
16 gb ddr4 fury black memory
750GQ EVGA
And of course, the GTX G1 Gaming 1070.
Help me /g/ I'm desperate
This is what you get for using mITX

I've recently been getting blue screen crashes on my new RX 480. I'm running an i3 until i can upgrade my CPU and I was wondering if a cpu that weak would cause the system to crash?
I ran a benchmark test and noticed the card gets very hot and the fans get very loud before it crashes. Could the card be defective?

Not loud or hot when it turns on now. I'm afraid the riser might have shorted it or something
