/g/ what is the best Linux OS for breaking WPA/WPA2 wifi passwords?
Also in general what is the easiest way to do this.
I want to have access to some signals around me, in case my internet gets turned off, ill have an emergency access point.
I don't want to leech forever, this would just be used for emergencies in case you're wondering.
I have planned to purchase a strong wifi wireless PCI Express card. I can upgrade my desktop with the card to have more bars & such. So my question here is what card do you recommend? I'm looking at the http://www.tp-link.com/ brand, perhaps their archer series of cards, they seem powerful.

Cracking WPA is a meme.
But, if your new to this stuff just install Kali. It will have all of the tools you "need"

How? If you're using Tor over VPN

the people here NEVER access their router
The ISP sets everything up, leaves, thats it.
So if I connect to one of these people, they would NEVER KNOW they never check their router or check current connections to it
Even if they did check it, they are technologically illertate, this means they would not even know whats wrong, or what am ystery device is doing connected to the device.
They have unlimited data & such, so like I said, never get caught connected to one of these people.

no, these people use the default passwords format that come with the router.
This means it follows a very specific format & has severely limited possible combos.
The format is
2 capital letters (A to Z)
2 numbers (0 to 9)
3 capital letters (A to Z)
2 numbers (0 to 9)
1 capital letter (A to Z)
So you see, the format is very exact & limited
they dont set their password to just ANYTHING
It is just what the router comes with
Everyone uses the same ISP here too, theres just one. So I know everyone has the same service.

The tor guy was not me, the OP, but yes I know my shit. I use Tor, a VPN service, various encryption (offered by the VPN program), & other things on my connection.

>Shitting around with passwords
I would rather use evil twin attack. It's just werks. Later this skill come in handy to spread malware.

The default password format?
Default password format for WPA is more than 8 characters.
Even if everyone used the defaults that you just made up it would take weeks for most commercial machines to crack 1 password.

I saw it in Mr. Robot.
