It (Clover) only asks for permission to access my SD card when I attempt to save a file (obvious), though what worries me more is that NFC access doesn't appear to be optional. It's on by default and cannot be disabled from what I can see. What does it even use NFC for?

Though thankfully the full source code to Clover is available, so auditing it and understanding why the NFC permissions are there is possible.
