here come the AMDrones, who think the user is to blame for shitty and unstable AMD drivers

except my PSU isn't a piece of shit and windows 7 is hardly a "legacy" OS
>>
Everything works fine on my 290 even after flashing it with modded 390 bios. What card and drivers do you have?
>>
AYYMD HAS NO DRIVERS

R9 nano. I tried to check the driver version but then this happened.

Well, even if Crimson is crashing, there's definitely issues with drivers. I guess you tried reinstalling them and it didn't help? If so, try uninstalling and cleaning up everything else with Driver Sweeper/Driver Fusion and installing them again.

Been using Windows 10 for 6 months with AMD GPU and zero crashes. Maybe you're just a retard.

He's not even suggesting that, he's suggesting you turn off the fucking brick UI and use you're computer like a normal person you fucking autist
>>
>>57336529
Windows 8.1 and 10 have been really stable on my laptop whereas WIndows 7 was slow as fuck. I tried to disable as much of the botnet as possible.
>>
>>57335934
I remember having this exact same issue with my gtx 750ti back in the day. It had to do with 3D settings and some shader config conflict between the driver and the game currently on. Does this happen at random or when playing a particular game?
>>
>>57335948
I can say from my experience that PSU is not to blame. I had R9 380 drivers crashing on me for almost a year. I changed my PSU because not all people reported drivers crashing, some had no issues, so I thought it must be me. Made no difference whatsoever.

It was resolved two months ago with a driver update, all fine now. No crashing anymore. Very much doubt it's OP's fault.

It's compatible with all of the programs I want to use. I don't care if American authorities know about my 2d loli.

This has been a running problem for more than a fucking year, I've solicited AMD to fix it for a total of 5 months now and I've got jack shit responses and none of the driver updates have fixed anything. This still occurs to this day
>>
>>57336875
that's hardly surprising, considering that AMD's driver team probably consists of trained monkeys. my previous HD7950 had cursor corruption issues that went unfixed for years.
>>
>>57335934

Redstone 1 is deprecated buddy, why aren't you on RS2 fast ring yet?
>>
>>57335934
I had the same issues with a mobile Nvidia GPU.
>>
I'm having issues too, I wish I never updated. Bluescreened last night and performance is way down on some games. I switched to AMD because shitty drivers killed my 560ti. I guess AMD gimps their older cards too. Fucking kikes.
>>
>>57335934
clever driver performed reset to prevent freeze
check for hardware failures

consult psychiatrist
>>
>>57336991
memory is ECC and tested with memtest86, motherboard is new. I guess that only leaves the card itself, but it's had no problems running games or passing benchmarks
>>
>>57335934
You act like this happens every time your on the computer. Very rarely does this happen to me (390X) even after raiding in WoW for 7 hours. It's probably happened 4 times in the year that I've had the card.
>>
>>57337014
you might be able to find out the problem with windbg
>>
GTX 970 here haven't had a driver crash since I upgraded from my HD7950 two years ago.

I think you people just have shitty luck and get defective cards.
>>
>>57337035
I think it should never happen, but maybe I'm spoiled by being a long-time nvidia user and having experienced no driver problems with their products. but I do remember the 196.75 driver which killed cards, so it's not like they're perfect either.
>>
>>57336529
nice memes
10 is as stable as any windows before
>>

This.
AYYYYMD and Winidings 10 works pretty good if all you do is game, never had anything crash on my HD 7850 2GB
>>
>>57337014
Try older drivers or stop O.C.ing.

I had this problem on Windows 7 too. I had to reinstall windows to fix it. It's one of the many reasons why I moved to Linux

I have a 390, my screen would black out for a few seconds. Turned off Hardware Acceleration on Chrome and it hasn't happened again.
