What router or networking equipment do you use?
I have a Linksys EA2700 N600 that services numerous devices including two desktops, two laptops and 4 mobile devices. Suggestions for upgrade? It's connected to a 100/100 fiber optic line.
Router is a Mikrotik RB2011. Have a Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC Lite for my WiFi.
Problem is my cunt of a neighbor has a 40MHz network operating on channel 6. Need to take care of that...
An atom supermicro server with pfsense until I get my thumbs out and buy a mikrotik or something similar. Also using a mac pro dlink as AP, that needs to go to.
Everything in between are 4 or 5 of those 1Gbit netgear, managed switches for 30€

1. Buy a good eternal card + antenna.
2. Install Kismet
3. Use it to grab his pw and crack it
4. login then change his router channel to something different
anyone got one of those chink Youth routers for like 15 bucks?
Router is just an old Linksys E3000 running DDWRT. Wireless has always been faulty on it, so I have an older tplink WDR3600 running stock that handles wireless duties. A Linux box handles NAS, automated backups and cloud sync and media serving. I've got a cubox running asterisk for my home pbx. That is going to an Edgewater PoE switch which powers 5 Polycom VVX410s. Everything else is running through a Cisco gigabit ethernet switch.
I have a fiber line through the local muni fiber network and can easily hit 100 megs up and down, no problem. Supposed to be getting my fiber gateway replaced sometime soon-ish so that I can subscribe to gig service and once I do that, I'll probably replace the router with something that can handle the speeds.
It finally came, only about 10 months after I feel for the crowdfunding meme.
Anyone else get one? I managed to get in on the early bird deal. Haven't even played with LXC yet.
Also being able to customize all the LEDs both in function and color is very autism-satisfying.
