Hey /g/, how hard is it to get a Microsoft Technology Associate cert? The place where I work is offering a Microsoft MSSA program but getting a MTA is required to apply.
Pic unrelated

They should pay for the certificate after you're hired. Otherwise, that's bull if you've already proven you can work on their shit

Which certificate?

Exchange MCSE here
Download a brain dump. I'm not even kidding. The only people who care about certifications are HR drones. So long as you don't do the unethical thing and get certified as a god damned MCSE just because you can, you'll be fine.
And Microsoft pulls dickshit questions like sales. "You have a client who wants x and y, what Office 365 Enterprise license level do you recommend?" They can eat a cock.

The architectural and master level certifications were cancelled because "cloud," the new certs reflect Microsoft's current world view so this isn't too surprising.
mcse/mcdba here. it's easy as fuck and the technologies are great, but the code is still really crappy legacy nonsense mixed in with decent ideas that get sprinkled with patches. at least you'll have job security.
