It really depends on what the software does. As long as your software isn't malicious, I don't see why it would upset God. I'm a Christian and I create proprietary software. None of my code contains anything that goes against the best interests of the user or tries to hide what it does. I've been asked to do things that would go against the interests of the users and I refused. You can't control what other people do but you can always make sure you do the right thing.
