I don't really know what manner of compression screenshots from phones are doing. When I take a screenshot it is a 100% quality capture from the source video, except in this case where I did it at 85% because I wasn't paying attention to turn it back to 100% after I recently did a reinstall of MPC-BE.

.png is not always the best format for taking screenshots. You'll get a humongous file for no return in image quality. Or you'll have such a big file it is unfeasible for uploading to something like this board. The .png version of this screen capture is 16 megabytes and the difference between it and a 95% compression jpg is negligible.
