I started to actually like the new chrome opera

it feels like its not trying to get in the way
while being helpful
I feel like I am in control of my speed dial
that search|copy on any text selection is very well done
build in adblock is alright
downloading is nicely in the background and never feels like in the way

only thing I miss is tab bar verticly
thats why I am on firefox/vivaldi
but I use it at work

Whatever Chrome does, ChrOpera does it better.

But the best thing about it is the new tab page. It is the best new tab page of any browser or any extension. It loads instantly, it looks nice and it is pretty useful.

Someone drop the full red pill on ChrOpera for us. Does it actually have a Chinese botnet built inside it? Any other problems that would legit drive a /g/entooman away?

Firefox is shit for a poweruser. I'm not installing fucking Chrome. What about the latest version of IE (not edge)? At this point I'd even say fuck add-ons and go that far to get a browser that just works without the spying bs.

Other than not being able to add your own default search engines, Opera is breddy gud.
Also has the free VPN been down for anyone else? It hasn't worked for a couple weeks for me.

I prefer Vivaldi but use this on my SP2 due to the battery savings and built-in features over Chrome. Has all of the extensions I use, too, despite them not just using Chrome extensions like Vivaldi.
