Got 100 chink magic erasers today for $4.88. Sponges are technology...r-r-right?

They seem good at cleaning stuff. I never used a real magic eraser so I can't compare, but they're good so far.

The only negative of them is they're not really reusuable. After 2-3 intense cleanings they start to get thin and break down. I dunno if that happens with the real stuff. I'm also slightly paranoid that they might be poisonous, the Chinese are good for that with products like this.

The earphone audio quality is a bit better than the old Somake + Capacitor mod, but the microphone has a "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep" really not usable, you can remove it but still not worth it over the old Somake desing and the twin input/output Somake desing card.

Holy shit, I just realized I was using a faulty blue card, tried a working one and the microphone is fine, but the green cards have higher volume.

The sound is similar on all of them.

And like always if you need to live stream, you need a mixer/phantom power, but if you want to record music/singing/podcast, the audio cards are fine, all you need to do is apply a noise reduction after you're done and you get a pretty clean audio.

Warning to those whose want to use those chink players with DAC feature on a linux computer. This includes the FiiO X3/X5, the entire Shanling line and probably others.
They all use the same fw from one company, and uses the same system to support USB Audio.
When plugged in a system with pulseaudio it will cause PA to hang in D state. It will still work with ALSA but is buggy.
Furthermore, it won't stay at the DAC screen while operating, meaning it will auto shutdown if you have auto shutdown enabled.

Do chinks make anything like the Intel NUC?

Like, that thing is $300+, and you still need RAM, an M2 SSD, and a Windows license. There are ready to use laptops cheaper than that, so there must be room for savings. So if I could get a cheap not-laptop with an i3 or i5, no screen, no keyboard, no battery, and Windows 10 preinstalled, that would be great.

The use case is a Steam streaming box that can also run simpler games on its own. And I if it's fanless, it could take over the home server duties from my Raspberry Pi.

Add custom faces, fix different icons, applications, etc.

You can use the microSD to upload your own ringtones, and wallpapers and what-not without any other resources.
