>wow burn in exists unbelievable
That said all my phones since they started making OLED phones have been OLED and I haven't had burn in on any.
Same with my VITA
The benefits AMOLED has on a phone outweighs the "you may get burn in if you constantly display the same image on your phone forever"
I assume they pixel shift like on plasma screens on OLED TVs and Monitors

((((((who needs hardware buttons anyway?))))))
This won't happen unless you leave your screen on for a whole day so things like display models will get the worst of it.
IPS master race.
Super AMOLED screens are still the nicest on the market
Don't leave your screen on all day like a shithead and burn in will never occur

Every Samsung AMOLED display phone gets horrible burn in. They replace them after a month or so.
Source: worked in phone retailer.
>mfw just switched from a phone with an AMOLED display to one with an IPS display

AMOLED looks very nice. But i couldnt have it on my main device, maybe a tablet or something. I use my phone too much for it to not get burn in, the lcd is always on in my car for music/navigation, itll probably only take a few dozen 3-8hour road trips in daylight brightness to burn in the panel.

Wow they used to be much more noticable

None of my Samsung AMOLED displays have burn in.
That could be because I don't keep my phone on with high brightness all the time.
