What software development methodology do you use, /g/?
Name a few?
The team i work with uses scrum
It's cool, i personally really like the idea of the daily scrum

Lean.
The methodology of trying hard, learnin' everyday, and most of all, having fun ;)
Write until it compiles then fix warnings before release. Other than that I don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

I used scrum at a startup, it didn't make sense to me because no task ever fit neatly in a sprint, so what is even the point. I get that it's supposed to encourage you to finish your shit faster for the deadline but idk.
We didn't do daily meetings though because my team members were lazy shits and we weren't that organized, also came in at different times.
I proposed Kanban because it seemed like the best methodology for our project and situation but it was the kind of team where you have to push hard to make any change.
I like Kanban, but it depends on the project.

Alright,
1 have an idea
2 start making shit
2.1 if I need to know how to do something, google it
3 after I get it working, add error catching and prompts to fix them
4 add features and do step 3
Thats about it

I feel you, bro. I work at a company where development is as chaotic as you can imagine. I've suggested over and over we adopt TSP, but management dgaf as long as money's pouring in.
