Who gives a fuck? Some people are poor and keep their houses at 15c or lower in the winter, other's aren''t poor and can afford to run central heating and keep their house at 20c+

The poor fuck freezing his ass off will have significantly better idle temps because the ambient air temperature will be so much lower. IT has nothing to do with his cases airflow and everything to do with the ambient air temps.

No I'm saying airflow is far less a factor for idle temps than ambient air temperature.

Put two identical computers in a room but have them in different cases, one with good airflow and the other with bad, make the ambient air temp something stupidly low like 12c, BOTH computers will idle around ~12-15c.

Air flow simply isn't a significant factor at IDLE loads.

Picked up a cheap 980 Ti Classified a few days ago. Not sure whether to keep it or sell it on for a profit on eBay. Has an 83.5% ASIC and does 1500MHz without breaking a sweat, but the fans are real noisy.
