I'm looking to buy a new phone. I want a very durable phone. I have the Moto G 2nd gen as of right now and it's slow as shit. I have a custom ROM on it (Cyanogen mod 13) and it's still slow as shit. Simple apps, like snapchat (inb4 using snapchat) take ages to work or just crash. I loved the Moto G 2nd gen because I could take that bitch in the shower and it'd be fine. I'm looking for water resistance or water proof and something that is basically drop proof. I've dropped my current phone a bunch and the screen is 100%.
Right now I am looking at the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 because it's cheap. I want a cheap, durable phone with decent specs. Any recommendations?

OP update: Just got the Redmi Note 3 Pro (the 3 gb RAM model) along with a case, screen protector, a standalone mic, and pop filter all for $190. Got free expedited shipping. But I did research on the screen durability of the Note 3 Pro and they use glass better than Gorilla Glass 4. Also, I watched a youtube video where some guy submerges it in water for 1 minute and the phone retained full functionality. Going to slap a custom ROM on the phone and call it a day.
