Be careful with what you're installing. Also, Windows 7 has automatic defragmentation when you're not using it for a while, this what you did is basically useless.

Anyway, a solution I see would be to install Windows with all drivers, make a snapshot of the partition and restore it every once in a while.

I'm just asking if the latest iteration of Windows is bad if I don't care about telemetry and UI consistency. Especially since MS made the latest version of their API exclusive to 10.

Oh, anothjer issues I had today: I plugged a flash drive and it was "installing" it for like 5 minutes and ended with an error, and the drive wasn't registered. I've put it in another port and it worked. Not a hardware issue for sure, as all ports and the drive work on loonix.
