Also, just get a thinkpad for >100$. X200 and T400s are that cheap and you can libreboot them

buy used computer
with 100 dollars, you can even get i5 +gpu comp
20 dollars is enough for c2d comp without gpu

Buy a prebuilt i3/i5/Core 2 PC off Craigslist and slap a cheapo GPU in there.

My local Craigslist has decent Core 2 Duo towers for $50. With a < $50 GPU off Craigslist/eBay you could probably run HL2 and shit indie games

For massive gains run at 720p btw
