ever since asus changed from 2yr warranty to 1yr warranty most of their laptops have turned to crap.

they wont even charge after you unplug the dc jack enough times because of how flimsy their design is.

Don't ever buy an ANUS gfx card.

Gigabyte is my preferred brand.

Asus isn't poorfag at all. Their maxiumus, ROG and DirectCU systems are amazing. Especially when paired. Their price range is easily enthusiast tier. Hell, their 1600+ notebooks with GTX 1060, 1070 and 1080 are outstanding. Better than MSI's same line that runs about $100 fpr each parallel line. Only plus is their RBG buttons opposed to ROG's black with red lighting, which gets old.

Of course a desktop is completely preferable, my 780 system is still prime and stable but when it comes to my next build it will be ASUS parts primary. Their laptops, well all laptops right now, are game changing and something unseen considering power. I use mine simultaneously with my PC. It's a hoot. `

I had to pick between these two this week. No regrets. I do want that back lighting though. The ASUS model thats like 2500+ with the mechanical is the best on the market at the moment, imo.
