I have no clue, genuinely asking.

It's really fast and really expensive and can get really hot
>>57252360
It's pretty good, not worth it for 99% of people though
>>57252360
M.2 is only good for running your os
If you want speed and size go intel ...but it will cost ya
>>57252789
but does it know how to use commas?
>>57252360
It's not as fast as advertised. Doesn't get that hot.
Still fast as hell. Great for an OS drive. Pair it with some 2.5in SSDs for data storage and you'll have a no-disk-lag system.

Awesome SSD. Have a 500GB one in my ThinkPad
>>57252789
how does it get hot
>>57252819
Intels 600p M2s are half the price of these and in most cases almost half the speed
>>57252848
>after a minute of sustained writing it starts throttling
>a hard drive that can actually boil water
>>57252871
how many volts does it pull
ssd's are usually incredibly efficient
did you look at the sticky?
no?
then please fuck off and die :)

The seq read and writes are pretty much what it says on the picture
>>57252889
>SSD that boils water colder than other SSD that boils water
>>57252918
The 950 Pro has throttling, performance will get worse with sustained use. The other one will keep getting hotter and hotter at roughly the same performance.
>>57252889
i need a heater in my room...
>>57252881
This is 4x faster than a 2.5x SSD and about 8x smaller. It is efficient but not when it's under super heavy writes, the biggest factor is that it's tiny and doesn't have a big metal heatsink surrounding it like 2.5" drives
If I dont care about speed but want long life which m.2 ssd is the best?
>he didn't get an AIB SSD
>>57252955
Most big brand ones have a 5 year warranty
A lot of these M2 drives haven't even been out 5 years so it's up to you, I bought a Intel 600p because it was cheap, it's a lot slower than a 950 pro but still faster than any SATA SSD
