Microsoft is so far ahead in the game I can't even believe this has happened.

I really miss the Apple that released new shit. Apple can't even catch up with touch based operating systems that aren't iOS. Microsoft has done their painful as fuck transition, but at least they're on the other side when it comes to touch enabled operating systems. Apple hasn't even started.

Microsoft seem to announce every product as early as possible, and they often seem totally unready. Apple only release when they're ready. Saying Microsoft are ahead is right, but their stuff feels wonky and unready.
