What happens if you start a project and use bad libraries or frameworks and then you realise much later? Are you fucked?

dump the old project, keep the original idea of what you want to achieve and start from scratch using different code and on different libraries, think outside the box, try different methods of achieving the end result

Just push forward and finish your job anyways. Fix it in a second release, and take lessons from your project actually working on how can you improve it. Plus having it working serves you as some kind of morale boost.
Happened to me choosing a bad data structure for a project.
Depends how far in you are. If you aren't too invested you could just switch out the libraries and frameworks for something better as long as it can accomplish the same task or just start from scratch and take a little time to research first.
