Modern web is bloated as fuck with all fucking shitty JavaScript. Gecko and Webkit are outdated piece of shit not optimized for modern web and hardware, not to mention that the older browsers contain a lot outdated code that will take forever to replace compared to just rewriting the browser from scratch.

I think Servo will be our savior.

- By Mozilla and therefore reasonably free (compared to Chrome)

- Written in a much safer language than C, so more secure
- Can be designed from the ground up with sandboxing, knowledge of modern web, etc.

My only fear is that shitty Mozilla will fail before completing it.

I normally don't use Windows, but I did upgrade my Windows 7 installation to Windows 10. There are some decent features Win10 added, despite the fact that you lose control over some aspects of the OS.
Also useful is the Linux subsystem, which means you can finally program on Windows.
