Not Coolermaster.

I have had Coolermaster for last two builds. Never again.

Not Thermaltake either that's cheap garbage.

What happened?
I had a Cooler Master for a good 6 or 7 years and its gone strong.

Whatever the latest fractal design case is. Dunno what people use for small cases lately
>>
>>57240992
I have a fractal r5.
Nice and quiet. Depends on what kind of case you want.
>>
I like corsair but their shitty thin HDD case handles can easily snap. I don't understand why they haven't fixed this, its the only cheap thing in their cases.

Fractal Design Define S
>>
>>57240992
The define S is the best case ive ever owned. Its so easy to work on, dead silent, tons of room for fuck off sized GPU. Front IO ports placed exactly where you need them. Only gripe is the bottom filter for the PSU is a bit annoying since it slides out the back.

>Own a Define R2 XL
>Open this thread hoping to see people saying my case/brand is awesome
>Was not disappointed.
I bought mine back before they were super common so I was kind of taking a chance but I got it and everyone is now jealous of my case's super solid build quality.

Only complaint I had was that the R2 XL didn't have a side window option which I ordered a side panel from Puget Systems and it's on there now. Love this case and IIRC the R2 XL is still the latest and greatest for their full-tower offerings unless the R5 is overshadowing it now...But I think they're in slightly different classes.
Can't wait to load this thing with a pair of Vega-based GPUs in early '17.
Anyone know estimated/projected power consumption? Will a 1000W be enough to run two of them and a Zen CPU?

any medium atx tower on newegg under 50 bucks

remember nobody cares about your specs or case outside of /g/

i'm still using some cheap raidmax for my 2nd machine and some cheap rosewill for my main, and i will never ever ever have photo worthy cable management since i'm open case master race rocking twice the hardware specs of 95% of /g/

inb4 dustfags no there is like zero dust in my house pls remove your cat.
>>
Just got the Eclipse P400S. It's very very quiet, i really like it, good layout too.
>>
>>57241583
Hows the cable management? I'm looking for something in the 60-80 dollar price range that's pretty clean looking like that plus a side window. This >>57241520 is also on my list
>>

>>57241520
I was referring to the phantom series, and the s340 is only popular because it's cheap.

My case is almost exactly the same as the one in the pic. I've used it for the past 5 - 6 years and have never had problems with it.

It's good as long as you take your time with running all the cables in parallel, otherwise they bunch up. I'd post pics but I'm shitposting from the toilet because you can't trust hot sauce that you don't remember the age of apparently.

my pc is kinda loud in my HAF912. will it be dead silent in a Define?
>>

>>
>>57241678
not sure what the kind of interior is like in that case but look at the define S doors. they are lined with my some sort of sound absorbing material to add mass to deaden sound, this has a huge effect on how loud your PC will be.

Unique but incredibly easy.
The case has a "cable management bar" instead of grommets that you use to pass your SATA, USB and ATX cables through. It's fucking ingenious and is super easy to work with.

still using this after many years.

I like that it's very plain, and has kind of a timeless look.

Looks like it could belong in a 1960 scifi movie, but doesn't seem out of place now.
>>
>>57240807
It used to be the CM 690 II, then it was the HAF 912 for a while.

Nowadays, there really isn't a case that is head and shoulder above absolutely everything in its price range. So there is no unanimously-approved /g/ case.

I would nominate the Enthoo Pro, for $100. Possibly the best $100 case.

>>57241400
NZXT makes one excellent case. To celebrate, their staff get very drunk and make another case. Then they sober up and make a new case. That is why half of NZXT's stuff looks gorgeous, and half look like the product of a drunken orgy.

I have the Alienware version of this exact case.

It's cool from a historical standpoint but a pain in the ass to work with

> tfw 80mm fans

It's currently empty but the plan is to repaint and build a rig with it at some point. I always wanted an Area 51/Aurora back around the year 200/2001 but could never afford it. Ended up buying one off of a guy in 2014 for like $50 off of craigslist.

Serious talk, Antec should just start do ing the P192/P193 again. It's lovely.

I've built in the lower-end P100 and that wasn't bad.

Fractal Design are also decent.

I wouldn't mind something like their Core or Define S, but more Micro-ATX that was nicely organised and came in other colours (pink? purple? red?). I'd also like to see way more USB Type-C now that Zen and Kaby Lake are coming up.
