I politely refuse.

Is that the graphics card that comes in laptops? Namely T460 or T460p.
How is it? Any good?

LOL no that's an old flagship Fermi furnace card. The one in the T460p is the 940MX

EVGA GTX 970 SC
Anyone here with a better ASIC than this?
>>57235857
I've already taken mine apart
Plus the vrm barely gets hot
Outta way, coming through!
>>57235942
Fucked if I'm installing it to take a screenshot, but the GTX 570 I keep around as a backup has an ASIC over 90%.
Bought a 980 Ti Classified on the cheap yesterday. Haven't really pushed it yet, but it boosts to 1500MHz on stock voltage with a small 50MHz bump.
>>57236017
Don't expect too much more than at most +75mhz on the core. Even with LN2 BIOS enabled, unchained power target and temperature link, +200mv, and +46% increased power target threshold, the card won't go above 1560mhz on boost for me. Has to do with the card hitting anything above 71C. The gtx9xx series has it set that once you go above that temp, the card will fall out of boost. Only way to get around that is better cooling. I.e. liquid.
I can get +50mhz core and +675mhz memory though at a measly +50mv.
>>57235939
But was yours only $250 new in-store?
>2016
>not having 872 petabytes/second of memory bandwidth
Got fucked on asic quality
Do I win the meme contest?
I got it for 350€ and strapped a pressure optimized 120mm noctua industrial on it to keep it aroudn 73 C. Keeps at 1000MHz without any issues

What fury? Fury X? Air cooled fury? I had a sapphire nitro Fury on release. Immense problems. Ram wouldn't downclock at idle. Artifacts at idle desktop over HDMI. Random DP falling out.
Sucked because I really liked it. Was a good performer when it actually worked. Any major problems? Was considering another Sapphire fury nitro now that the card and driver's has matured a bit.
>>57236264
It's a Nano.
It was a good deal when I got it, since cheapest 1070 go for around 460-470€ and fury lineup is around 500€.
>>57236264
>>57236287
Also rx 480 and gtx 1060 were made of unobtanium for the first 2-3 months here and between the 280-480€ gap it was a really good deal ( 30% off )
Here is an image of the settings, although poewr limit is at 50% now since some games caused power draw spikes and thus slight clock fluctuation.
Dat ASIC quality
>>57236287
That's not terrible. My local microcenter has sapphire fury cards for $250 new. Nanos for $310 last I saw.
>TFW a Fury X was returned to microcenter because a single fan started squeaking
>TFW that card, normally $550 was marked down to $300 because it was considered "defective"
>TFW it was also Saturday so all returned items are on clearance. 35% off all returned items
>TFW a working fury X was selling for $195 while I was at work and couldn't get it
I was so sad the whole day.
>>57235676
You can't bow down to a manlet with meme card, kiddo.
To OC or not to OC?
>>57236371
Damn that sucks, last july microcenter listed the 980 for $230 online while I was at work and the only store that would price match them when I got off was office depot, it took like a month to ship
>>57236371
>>My local microcenter has sapphire fury cards for $250 new. Nanos for $310 last I saw.
Yeah but don't you 'murricans have prices before taxes? We have taxes included in the price so my nano was 282€ before the VAT
>TFW a working fury X was selling for $195 while I was at work and couldn't get it
Man that sucks, depending on when the local stores put another sale for the nano/fury x I might buy another one for crossfire if I feel the need. Otherwise I'll just wait for the Vega or what comes next.
>>57236429
Push it to the limit bruh, that there is equal to 1070 OC when pushed far enough.
>>57236082
I'm pretty happy with it even like this desu. It destroys the 1060 even at 2.1GHz and I paid less for this than I did for that. Don't mind buying used with EVGA, since their warranty transfers to subsequent owners.

Overclocking without adding voltage produces almost no extra heat. Unless you're thermal throttling even at stock, you have no excuse.
