Have this little shit, and want to install arch.

is it a good idea to have a bleeding edge distro on this machine? or should i go for something more stable?

Seeing as you have such a noob question about Arch, I think you should install Antergos instead and use Openbox. Yes, Arch should run very well on that netbook.
